Trying to levitate objects with FPGAs...

Acoustic levitation employs radiation forces to suspend an object in air without any contact. This type of levitation has been widely used for contactless manipulation of particles in biology, medicine, and physics, amongst other areas. Other methods exist for contactless handling, including magnetic, electrostatic and optical trapping. However, acoustic processing has the advantage of working on different materials and at different sizes.
